Could Susan have early onset dementia?
That would explain her whacky comment about the pope better than anything. She could not possibly be simply that ignorant. Rage is one of the most common symptoms of dementia.

shareSadly, she is just another of those Brain-Dead Hollywood liberals
shareWhy do you ask? Has she launched her campaign by nudging-winking at people who killed civil rights activists? Has she started mumbling senselessly about jelly beans or making references to "Nancy"? Has she claimed she has no recollection of selling weapons to Iran and using the money to fund death squads in Latin America? Those are the usual symptoms of dementia, but Susan Sarandon is not the person that comes to mind when I think of an example.
shareNo. She is suffering from early onset liberalentia. And, when that happens, the level of ignorance capable of being displayed simply cannot be measured.
shareHey pianoplay16,

No.
Susan Sarandon is not suffering from any mental illness related to age or psychosis. She is actually very mentally alert and has an agile mind, so it is still possible for her to continue memorising and remembering lines for her roles in film and television or on stage. She usually plays ping pong at SPiN New York, which keeps her physically and mentally active also.
I suspect she has the problem many people have when speaking, and that's when your brain processes information/words so fast that your mouth cannot keep up. Therefore to compensate for lack of speed, people tend to squeeze a lot of details into a short phrase when speaking, even combining the past and present into one idea. As a result, their comment/speech becomes ambiguous.
Many people still combine past and present ideas into one and it confuses the listener because they have to seek clarification.
I have to admit I sometimes do it, but never to deliberately confuse people. That could be one reason why some people think I say strange or confusing things.
I have never ever in my life seen someone go so far out on a branch. I don't think it's going to hold you.
