HBO Denies Lange/Sarandon 'The Making Of' Baby Jane!

Ryan Murphy JUST pitched Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon to star in ''The Making Of ... What Ever Happened to Baby Jane,'' and the head of HBO declined! I can't even process life right now considering the success/awards of "Grey Gardens'' and Lange (the hottest ticket in town for her age) who garnered a Best Actress award for GG. Let's also not forget the exquisite work of Sarandon (Best Actress Nominee) in HBO's "Bernard and Dorris.'' They aren't foreign actors to HBO here! The film would be the correct way to do the film VS a play-by-play remake, and it would have garnered another HUGE hit with HBO versus attempting a theatrical release. It would delve into the lives of Davis/Crawford and really explored their hatred against one another. Maybe after ''The Normal Heart'' is a big success, Murphy will have a little more pull at HBO. Until then, can we sign a petition to reverse this decision ... maybe by sending emails to Michael Lombardo, the HBO programming president who declined the project?

Wake me up when this nightmare is over ... until then, I need to find the nearest oxygen tank!

Here is my Facebook Petition page for Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon to star in the film Ryan Murphy brought to HBO, but was declined. That film is ''The Making of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane.'' Please join my group, and I will personally send each fan message to Michael Lombardo with HBO. Thank you!

I'm shocked the Sarandon fans haven't posted on this yet. Maybe IMDB isn't a source of daily/weekly information, for some, as it is for me.

Maybe Sarandon fan's just aren't interested in the fairy dust Kool-Aid which you seem to be addicted to.

Jesus, the project was pitched four years ago and died, along with a million others and you're delusional if you think your cackling here is going to have any influence.

Move on and go dream another dream.

Now Now!!! You're mother wouldn't like it if I told her you were talking that way to strangers.

Yeah, yeah. You're a moronic twit, but at least you have taste, for you obsess over someone who's worthy of the praise.

Type less and read more, for us old timers can give you more about your idol than the internet ever will.

This would have been amazing. HBO just had a huge surprise hit with Queen Latifah's Bessie film which many didn't expect to do so well. This would have been a no brainer.
