What happened to her?
There was a point in the mid-90s when it seemed like Mimi Rogers was going to have a big career. What happened?

shareI don't know. It's weird. She pops up in the weirdest projects, yet doesn't appear to be doing that many of them. Maybe she's a bit selective? I dunno.

Hmm, promising start, then drained of charisma, making bad career choices. I'd say it's the curse of the scientologists. Look at John Travolta, when was his last good film? Face/Off? Tom Cruise? His star power is fading. Two actors who were on top of the world. Look at them in their youth, then look at them now. Don't they almost seem...drained? Dehumanized? They're probably great people, but there doesn't seem to be any humanity left to them. Could be what happened to Mimi Rogers as well. Don't forget Ms. Jenna Elfman. She should have scored some more popularity after Dharma & Greg, but that went down the crapper fast. This scientology is a scary thing, it seems to suck the life, money, and joy out of people, but then have them believe this is good for them. All because L. Ron Hubbard wanted a tax break.
By the way, and completely off the topic, she has a beautiful pair of breasts. The bigger the better and hers are naturally perfect. Normal Hollywood women don't even compare because they spend their time losing all of their weight to become human vaccums. Real women have curves.
I never knew she was a scientologist.
Juliette Lewis & Kirstie Alley are other examples of scientologists whose careers have faded away like a Chevy Chase movie after opening weekend.

ha, ha :-> ha, ha. That's a good one.
shareWell, I'm a Mimi-ite for two BIG reasons, heh heh, but...
She's not amazing looking. She's attractive, but not Julia Roberts or Demi Moore hot. She has an amazing set of gozongas but her face is just, I dunno. In terms of her power as an actress, she's nothing great. TV-movie quality, which is why that's mostly what she does. Meryl Streep is far from hot and has a beak, but can get mega-dynamic. Mimi, a little understated. I think her best performance was Someone To Watch Over Me (where amazingly her danglers were very small). But she just never had that star-maker or powerful capability that other actresses have.
But of course, she's won a lot of guys Breast Actress award :).
I'm surprised about all the comments about Mimi Rogers' Breasts! I didn't know that they were so successful between guys. It's good your comment about "Real women have curves".
I must say that i only knew about Mimi Rogers because of her marriage with Tom Cruise. I know that i have seen her in some movie but i don't remember which one. But now in Spain it's being rerun "The Show of Geena Davis", and i think she is really brilliant in that role. I think she plays it very well. And I haven't anything to say about her breasts, but i like a lot her clothes in that show, very elegant.
And about Scientology, well, this is an answer for all of you, you have forgotten Wynona Ryder who now "steals" in shops...(i like her as an actress, but what is she doing now?).
If there's a scientology curse, it's definitely not affecting Tom Cruise. The guy's making better movies than ever, and they're every bit as successful at the box office as the lesser flicks of his early career. Seriously, you can't think Minority Report, The Last Samurai, and Collateral are examples of a guy whose starpower is fading? And he's got War of the Worlds coming up. If anything, he's more popular than ever.
And yeah, I have to agree about Mimi Rogers' looks. While she's definitely got a great rack, that smile of hers just creeps the heck out of me.
Maybe because she split from Tommy.
Hey, what kind of people follow a religion invented by a FAILED science fiction writer and that has only been around since the 50s?? And, that has you put two cans on each ear with some connecting wiring to a BOGUS box of some kind so you can "CLEAR" your negative ions or something (there is a monetary charge for this of course). Also, that makes you study and PAY MONEY to "advance" to several levels of enlightenment, before reaching the goal of the very top level (and spending MORE MONEY) to find out the ultimate "truth," which is.....that the Earth was inhabited YEARS ago by these space creatures floating around in space and that cohabitated with humans and procreated children with them and those kids live among us to this day. That's pretty close as I recall. Source: Big Secrets (a book) by, William Poundstone. Read it, it's pretty FUNNY and AMAZING that ANYONE with ANY intelligence whatsoever would buy in to scientology. Scientologists will DENY all the aforementioned but Poundstone made a career out of PLANTING paid spies on the inside of whacky organizations like scientology, The Knights of Columbus, The Shriners, etc., and EXPOSING them. He wouldn't even give the exact location of his whereabouts in his book's dustjacket bio. These spies would act like they wanted to join and they would go through all the "training" and learning and then report back with their notes to Poundstone. He's written 1 or 2 others like this one.
