Is it true she's no longer a Scientologist?
I just heard that she wasn't anymore earlier today

shareI heard she still follows their beliefs, but is no longer active in their church.
shareNO chick is a scientologist anymore after they were FORCED to be one by Cruise and then after they are no longer with him!
I wonder what she thinks now seeing that Tom has gotten totally nuts about it.
shareSo its her fault Toms in Scientology and is now considered nuts by people. I still think he seems like a nice guy. People are just jealous. and hes still being bullied in a way.
shareI said "I wonder what she thinks' and Tom is really, really hard into Scientology. No one can't deny that.
As for him being a nice guy, I can't say yes or no since I don't know him personally.
Ah yes, "people are just jealous," the cry of the desperate who really have no point to make. Lemme assure you, no one is jealous of Tom Cruise's mental state or idiotic association with a cult of lunatics that follow a tax-dodging science fiction writer.
shareYou must be right, ragreen: No one could possibly be jealous of Cruise's international success, colossal net worth, enduring power despite bad press and the aphrodisiac of his physical appearance on innumerable women for the past thirty years. Everyone must be focused on Cruise because they're overcome with pity.
I've never liked Cruise's acting, but that isn't a reason to hate him personally. I also dislike his recent bullying manner (on display because he lost his first manager and hired his own sister as a replacement). But that's not a reason to hate his success. His affiliation with Scientology is only annoying insofar as he's chosen to make asinine statements connected with it -- specifically, insulting 9/11 firefighters, Brooke Shields, anyone who takes anti-depressants and any doctor who happens to prescribe them.
A lot of religions and religious spokespersons are conning us financially and ideologically -- so many that I wonder about people who single out peculiar and "exotic" religions and ignore the rest. Are Scientologists attempting to rewrite history textbooks in Texas and science textbooks everywhere to conform to their own beliefs? Did they found the Identity Movement, which preaches racism and eugenics in the name of Christianity?
Of course "no one is jealous of Tom Cruise's association" with Scientology. But people do use that religion as an excuse to hate celebrities of whom they're already jealous.
Fixating on the shortcomings of celebrities alleviates ordinary people's sense of failure.
