Hasn't worked with Woody Allen yet?
She'd be effing brilliant as one of Woody's muses, she plays neurotic New Yorkers like only a few can.
FYC (BEST ACTOR): Richard Jenkins, "The Visitor"

shareWhat about Parker Posey AND Hope Davis in a Woody Allen movie? How amazing that'd be!
FYC (BEST ACTOR): Richard Jenkins, "The Visitor"
^^ that would be great! they were great as sisters in "the daytrippers"!
i'm also surprised that Woody and Parker have never worked together, I think he'd love her. He's such an amazing director, essential New York and Parker is such a New York actor, not some hollywood bimbo.
I love "The Daytrippers", so underrated! Too bad Greg Mottola went on to make "Superbad", we know he can do better than that...

Yeah, that is sort of weird that he's never hired her. Of course, now he's too busy having scarlet johanson play the same character over and over and over again...
I know you're married but I've got feelings too!
Maybe that's what he needs to get back to form.
I may be in the minority, but IMHO Posey is hotter and much a better actress than Johansson.
I wouldn't say hotter, but Parker Posey is definitely more talented than Johansson. Scarlett blew me away in "Lost in Translation", but has bored me in almost everything ever since. Posey is consistently brilliant. What is Woody waiting for??

I totally agree. She is perfect for his films. She`s amazing!
