Rip Bill Paxton, best remembered for..
Gone way too soon. RIP Bill Paxton
I'll always remember him from Twister.
And you?

That's the thing, I was about to say Twister and all the other usual films you'd think of... and then so many movies came to mind. Apollo 13, Tombstone, U-571, Edge of Tomorrow and so many more. He's been in so much!
What a fantastic guy the world of films lost yesterday. Game over.
RIP Bill, always enjoyed seeing your films. Tombstone & Twister, my faves!
share I will definitely remember him from Apollo 13! But the first movie I ever saw Mr. Paxton in was Aliens.
Hudson was such a great character! He was full of bluster, but when the situation turned bad, Hudson voiced the fears of the audience. Now I think of his famous line, "Game over man, game over!" with sadness. Too young for his life to be over. RIP and thanks for the great performances.
Twister for me too. Not because it was his best role or anything but because of my emotional attachment to that film and its legacy. It came out when I was a young girl and I remember going to Universal Studios Florida and experiencing the ride of Twister before seeing the movie (even though the ride opened some 3 years after the movie was released). I watched the film over and over and always loved the soundtrack too. Bill will be hugely missed, he was not only a great talent but seemed a lovely person too. His legacy will live on forever, and I keep his friends and family in my thoughts and prayers.

The Terminator. Nice night for a walk eh?
and
Aliens. Game Over Man!
Twister and Titanic. I'm so because its just so random. You never really hear much about him, then this. RIP. My heart goes out to his family.
shareTwister?!!! Odd that so many remember him for one of his weakest films. Paxton was always great but Pvt. Hudson from Aliens is the first role I think about. "Why don't you put her in charge?" still always makes me smile.
He will be missed.
