I think The Local Stigmatic is his most underrated/underappreciated and in some ways his most inspired given its limitations (50 minutes long, relatively few scenes, a play on film).

I've seen all of his films besides his new ones Manglehorn, The Humbling and Danny Collins. I'll be seeing all three of them soon.
To me, these are his all time best performances, ranked in order. There were some other performances I thought were solid but didn't quite make the cut (People I Know and Author Author for instance).
