What makes him a great actor?

His ability to do equally great Drama and Comedy, he really excelled in both genres With no disrespect to dramtic actors Jack is oneof the few whos oscars in a leading role its with two different genres

The first one One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest Drama and as Good as it gets comedy.


Being able to master these two genres ( Comedy and DrMa) is as admirable as being a transformer actor or chameleon.

He causes the audience to empathize with his characters better than any actor I've ever seen. Also, he is able to make (semi)despicable characters empathetical. That's what has always stuck out to me.

His turn in Five Easy Pieces was incredible. The scene when he spoke to his father blew me away... one of the greatest American actors ever.
