But you still have to give her credit. SOmehow someway, she made herself relevant for years. Decades in fact.
It certainly wasn't because of talent. All of her contemporaries, and I know because I was there in the early 80s - they all came and went. Many of them much more talented. She kept herself in the public eye - important, selling out massive tours. Endless record sales.
If nothing else, you have to give her credit for that, IMO.
And finally, yes, the current version of her - its almost sad. Time to pack it in baby - it's over.
She has been irrelevant for the last 20 years.
shareReally? Is she irrelevant to the youth of today? I grew up with her in the 80s and she was incredibly popular. The last thing she did I liked was the 2000 release "Music". I haven't been into anything she has done since. One would be curious as to what the teenager of today thinks of her.
