When is he going to come out with a new film? Lucas made American Graffiti which is one of the greatest movies of all time and severely overshadowed by his later work. I mean my God, despite his haters, this man is a creative genius and one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. What a waste it would be for American culture for Lucas just to stop and fade away with old age. George, please make more films!

Thinking back to when he sold Lucasfilm to Disney, he stated that he was going to do small art films now that he had the time.

It's been quite a while, so I guess he just decided to be a full-time family man.

Maybe he has been working on secret projects or some film that takes a decade or more to make like Boyhood or the new Avatar

I definitely read that he might never release them. These are projects he's making for his own amuesment. Lots of filmmakers do that kind of thing.

He's always had the time and money to do it. The only thing holding him back is George.
