The highest-grossing film in her career was Six Days/Seven Nights and that was more due to Harrison Ford appearing in the film than it was Heche. Following that role a combination of her relationship with comedian Ellen DeGeneres, her lower box office returns and Heche's mental and emotional issues reduced her to lower budget films and character roles. That’s where she remained for the rest of her career and her life.
