I checked IMDB to see what Anne Heche was in, because while I know her name, and connection to Ellen, I really don't remember seeing her in anything.

I know Portia from Arrested Development and Ally McBeal, but I didn't remember that Both Anne and Portia were on Ally McBeal. I wonder if there's any chance that's how Ellen bounced from one to the other. Maybe at an Ally McBeal party? And maybe they did a 3some?

That's a great question but with this current Heche debacle, there will be stone cold silence from both Ellen and de Rossie, if not an outright attempt to squelch any speculation.
