She wouldn't be the first heterosexual to try and sleep their way to the top with the cynical motive of advancing their career.

I think all her relationships since Ellen have been with men. She might be Bi but I always felt it was a career move her more than love.

At the time an open lesbian relationship was more controversial than it is now.

I feel like Portia is doing the same thing with Ellen now.

Yeah the eating disorder wrecked her. I know she's nearly 50 now but she has looked old for quite some time.

Yes. She did it for publicity, and a career boost. It's blatantly obvious if you look at her relationship history.
