Does Anyone Else Think She Has a Couple of Bad Scenes In T2?

Hurts me to say... I love the 1st 2 Terminator movies but I just watched Dark Fate... I thought her and the latino girl were annoying... and even going back to T2... I thought she hammed it up a bit there too although she was good in parts there... I bought her character but there were just a few scenes that I didn't like. I feel like I'm the only one who feels this way.

I don't think so. I like her in T1, T2, Children of the Corn, and Frasier. Dark fate was just a bad movie. The overactive in T2 didn't bother me. It really seemed like 2 scenes were over the top (confronting dyson and the extended meet with reece). Other than that, it's solid.

Yes exactly... I was specifically thinking of the Dyson scene too and the dream with Reese in the extended version. I'd forgotten about it but have to agree with you about it also. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I guess I am being a little overly critical. I can't imagine how hard it would be to pull those kinds of scenes off but it did stand out to me like I was watching someone acting in those scenes. But yeah, apart from that she's great. I shouldn't have used the word 'shitty' to describe her but I just watched Dark Fate and certainly not thrilled with the older Sarah. Yes it sucked.

I thought she did a perfectly fine job of pretending to be hunted down by killer robots from the future.

That's good... yeah just a couple scenes I guess is all it is.

TandyMan….that was funny.
Had me laughing.

T2 is just tonally and characteristically different in a few ways from the original movie. Deliberately so. I think it's appropriate that Sarah is changed person from 1984 though. While the terminator is supposedly an unchanging machine, except that it can "learn". And the T-1000 changes at will.

I get her character arc... that part of her performance was great. It's just one scene really that struck me as off... an emotional scene between her and Furlong.

Which one then?

reply

The one at Dyson's house.
