I dread the day he dies.
We all know that it's going to happen sooner than later given his recents statements, but every time I see his picture come up anywhere, I fear the worst has happened.

shareHe's one of those stars that I feel like I've known for most of my life. I watched "Family Ties" from Season 1 (I was 13) and it was so interesting to watch him transform into a genuine movie star as the 80s progressed. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and he and Tracy Pollan have been such a great couple.
It will indeed be a sad day for me when he passes.
Very good post. You really hit on how I feel.
shareI'm from Canada and he's pretty much a legend here. We don't even really look at him like he's a celebrity.
shareVery well said and exactly how I feel 🧡
shareI'll be very sad about it. He's one of the first actors I really loved.
shareHe runs a very good organization that funds research into Parkinson's cures and helps Parkinson's patients.
I've worked with many such organizations and I think the MJ Fox Foundation is top notch and I believe that is because of MJF's leadership.
The Michael J Fox Foundation is funded from yearly donations and does not have any endowment.
I don't know if that organization will be able to continue fundraising without MJF as their head and that would be an additional tragedy.
I think his family would take over, but sadly they're going to need Michael J. Fox's A-list status to keep people donating.
shareDid you know that a major symptom of late-stage Parkinson's is delusions and hallucinations? Basically a form of dementia. MJF is in his 60's and I fear that he's been having a lot of stuff like this. When he speaks about how he "wont make it" to his 80's, I figure it's because he's experiencing some deep psychological shit that's way worse than tremoring and uncontrolled spams.
shareIt's possible there's a psychological issue starting to form, but he seems mentally alert and cracking jokes like he normally does.
shareStuff like this makes me really angry at God.
Some real bastards are walking around just fine, MJF is dying but OJ is golfing...wth?
Life is just unfair. I had a cousin who ate healthy, didn't smoke, drink or do drugs, but died of cancer at 39. Keith Richards is still alive and kicking after taking everything known to man.
shareI smoke like a furnace, I drink like a pirate and Curse like a county jail inmate and I'm still strolling around, even God won't stop me.
The Michael J Fox illness makes me angry at God, what did that guy ever do but entertain all of us in a funny way!?!
He seems like a sweet dude with a good sense of humor, I'd carry his mom's groceries out of her car every day.
I'm a Christian though I admit I like my tobacco, booze and foul language but when that big lightening bolt hits my skull some day I've got some questions for GOD...I'm putting that old boy on the hot seat.
youd have to demonstrate god exists. but yes if he does hes a horrible disgusting unjust entity who gives babies cancers while letting pedos go free.
also nothing in Christianity makes any sense

I might meet GOD some day, I might give him an autograph if he asks real politely.
But he has some explaining to do. I'm gonna yell at GOD like I yell at the plumber that fucked up the sink in the spare bedroom. 'You get paid when the job is done and I'M satisfied jerk off!!! Until then fuck you, fix it or you won't get your pay.'
This GOD guy needs to know his place, who does he think he is?
uhhh sure.
until then ill be living my life not thinking theres an imaginary daddy watching everything.
You should forget HIM stupid, GOD doesn't give a shit for any of us.
He caused this mess, GOD is obviously a drunk, forget him, HE'S of no use.
This GOD guy is full of himself. All of the 'HEAVYS' always are...
PRO TIPS: Own a fully fueled automobile, food and water stored in the cellar, multiple firearms and a couple thousand rounds of ammunition in small to heavy caliber, a full kit of tools and an angry dog that hardly sleeps.
A crazy dog and a Mossberg 500 pump action 12 gauge will do do more for you ever since Jesus got nailed down and hung up in the sun.
I don't think you do any of those things to the extent Keith Richards does it. And you don't do drugs (I don't consider weed a drug.)
shareHow do you know Fox is completely innocent? What if he did copious amounts of cocaine in the 80s and it gave him parkinsons?
sharehe got dealt a shit hand. it shouldn't make me feel "that its worse" someone as full of energy and outgoing as MJF got parkinsons, but it does.
anytime i rewatch back 2 the future its like a particularly bright light got dimmed.
Yeah but at least he brought more awareness to the disease thanks to his star power, his foundation helped thousands of people.
shareMy best friend has Parkinson's Disease.. About 6 months ago, he had a procedure done where they insert 2 lead bars in the frontal temporal part of his forehead.. When he recovered, what they do is fine tune the lead bars via computer program to stop his Dyskinesis or the tremors he experiences, and it helps him alot.. I'm sort of surprised Michael J. Fox never went this route because it might've helped him in the end??
shareMaybe he did but his case was too advanced to do anything. He found out in 1991 and maybe the procedure wasn't as successful as it is now.
