I think he was wonderful he really captured the personality of this character and showed both sides of him very well.
I could say this is one of favorite performances by him
Ralph definately captured Heathcliff. Too bad the movie was more style than substance.

I don't understand why that version gets such a hard time. It's dark, passionate and very moving.
Ralph captures the brooding intensity of Heathcliff perfectly and brings a tortured moody edge to him. He's heart breaking in this during the deathbed and coffin break in scenes. Plus he looks very sexy too

You took the words out of my mind, I couldn't have said it better.
And yes he was super hot as Heathcliff, I never thought he could look that great with long hair, but the dark hair and tanned skin made his green eyes stand out more than ever.
Loved it~!!! One of my all time favorites!
