Even the very best actors who've been around for a while have clunkers on their resumes.
That's true even for acting gods like Daniel Day-Lewis and Meryl Streep. Nobody can bat 1000.
So, do most of you Fiennes fans agree that Ralph's clunkers include Maid in Manhattan and The Avengers?
Not only was there zero chemistry with his costars, but he looked almost embarrassed to be in those films.
What went wrong?
Judging by the quote in his IMDB profile, he seems pretty proud of The Avengers...
"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"
He does regret Maid in Manhattan. But I believe he thoroughly enjoyed filming The Avengers and working with Uma Thurman. He's never publicly said anything bad about The Avengers film. I've added a link so you can see what he said about Maid in Manhattan.
