Oscar winning performance?

How long do you think it will be before he puts in another Oscar nominated performance? He's played plenty of roles that were worthy, but do you think he will win that Oscar one day? For me, his portrayal of Amon Goeth in "Schindler's list" will always be his greatest performance, alongside "The English patient". He's reached an age where many of the Oscar-worthy roles and roles in general go to younger men, but he has many gems left in him. Al Pacino didn't win one until he was around Ralph's age, so it could happen. I recently became a huge fan of his, having seen most of his movies in the past couple of weeks in fact, and I think Ralph Fiennes is a wonderful and enchanting actor. I read the synopsis on some of his films such as "Strange days" and I think "Oh no, this is going to be trash" but the film and him especially surprised me. Truly an acting treasure.

I still think that he should got an Oscar with his performance on ' Red Dragon '.

I think time travel should be invented specifically to go back in time to give him the Oscar for Schindler's List.

You don't get oscars for playing nazis. Unless you're Christoph Waltz and the film was a heavy satire, and no serious competition.

I think Fiennes is definetly on the radar to get one down the road now. It really depends but he could get one any time in the next 30 years really. There are more old man roles than you think.
