Snubbed again - Oscars 2015
He was amazing in The Grand Budapest Hotel...who agrees?
shareA stunning performance. Been rewatching it on HBO this week and it gets even better with repetition.
sharewow, i agree completely perfect performance. He WAS that movie. Snobs probably didn't even see the film, or were peeved that it was set in a fictional place instead of Sudetenland.

I'm really angry I just can't belive it happened and worse that Bradley Cooper who is a younger version of George Clooney tools his place.
Thsi is so unfair, one of the biggest Oscar Snubs ever.
I completely agree! And I actually like Bradley Cooper, but please ...
These award shows have been becoming more and more a joke anyway - all about the studio lobby nowadays imo.
agree.
sad he's not even nominated :/
Fully agreed, he was excellent in The Grand Budapest Hotel!
But then, Ralph Fiennes is ALWAYS amazing IMO. One of the best actors ever, so versatile and believable.
Yet the Academy snubs him again and again and again.
Seems they have a few greats on their snub-list which they are determined never to let them win such as Fiennes. Di Caprio also comes to mind, he has given some excellent performances.
Yes, agreed, he was truly great in TGBH. Saw the film again yesterday and he's wonderful. Can't believe he wasn't nominated.
shareI completely agree. Ralph Fiennes is outstanding as the lovable M. Gustave in The Grand Budapest Hotel. Then again, he is always outstanding. But this is one of his best performances in my opinion, and it bites that he didn’t get an Oscar nomination, especially when the movie got 9 other nominations. To me, he’s the main reason the movie is as incredible as it is, so I really can’t understand how the academy could leave him out.
