I hate his voice and his looks. He has looked like a woman his whole life; first without a beard then with a beard. He is overrated as an actor. He did some good performances as a minor and a young man, but after his twenties, not so much. Shutter Island was such a snore.
shareI don't hate him, but I think he just plays himself. As he turned into his mid/late twenties he's always just been Leo playing a character. It's not necessarily a bad thing mind you because he still engages the audience, but he's not really becoming the character he portrays. His turn as an Irishman in Gangs of New York, a hustler in Catch me if you Can, and his role as Howard Hughes are all Leo using different accents but it was still him. He has done some shitty roles like his turn as J. Edgar Hoover which was very laughable to me.
