Only one forth Italian
Yet Bobby Milk always wins Italian American awards.
shareMan, I don't think I'll be able to sleep for weeks now after hearing that.
shareI didn't understand what that meant.
You're not releasing any details.
What's your point? That still makes him Italian. I'm Italian, Belarusian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Austrian. Does not being 100% of any of those ethnicities somehow disqualify me from being each and every one? So, basically, by your 'logic', anyone who isn't a purebred is 0% anything.
And, hell, James Caan gets Italian awards just for being in The Godfather even though he isn't a drop. You have a problem? Take it up with him.
One of my wife's grandmothers is Italian, making my wife one fourth Italian. Yet she doesn't go around saying she's Italian, or thinking of herself as Italian. It's funny how people get hung up on this stuff.
shareDON SAVANT's point is obvious to me.
A few years ago,in an interview ,if I remember correctly,he said he was only a quarter Italian,I forget what the rest of his background is.
Many people found this fact odd because we all thought of him as an Italian American icon.
Seems fair to say that he has used the Italian part of his background to get iconic parts in films that he might not have got if his name was Robert Smith?
He has chosen to portray himself as an Italian American but to be fair he said in the interview that he felt it odd that only that part of his background was mentioned.
No. Italians cost a lot more than that. I'll be here all week.
Where is the face-palm emoticon when you need it?
