Geena Davis - Extra? in 1973 - The Paper Chase

Just finished watching The Paper Chase with John Houseman, Timothy Bottoms, and Lindsay Wagner (umteenth time!). I love this film, made me want to go to law school!

At 1:39:52 (near the end of the movie) the class stands and applauds "Kingsfield" on the last day of class. The shot pans the students and one of them appears to be Geena Davis. I see that Geena went to high school in Massachusetts and was interested in acting (though her career didn't start for a few more years). So is this Geena? maybe its just me but i don't think that looks like geena at all.

1)That does not look like her in the slightest. Not a thing like her!

2) She would have been 17-18 at that time and would be about 6 feet tall. This woman looks to be about 5'4. Unless the 2 men on either side of her are each about 6'7, which I doubt.

3) Someone who was shown like this in this shot, even for a moment would not have been an extra. This person may not have been billed, but they would have been cleared by SAG, and therefore not an extra.

And again, this person looks nothing like her at all, nor is she anywhere near as tall. Geena Davis can be up to 6'3 in heels!

Actually, the actress in question looks more like Blair Brown to me.

THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HER. It's definitely her.

Blair Brown was actually in The Paper Chase.

Yup, it's the height that kills it.

I sort of see the face, but I'm watching The Fly right now and her chin doesn't stick out as much as that picture; she's got different angles.
