shareAll i hate is her choice of movie roles. Lets face it, her choice of films has been an unmitigated disaster. Flop after flop after flop. Without tv's Homeland she would be nothing.

Aside from My So-Called Life (1994) which has a cult following, Romeo + Juliet (1996), Little Women (1994),The Hours (2002),and Mononoke-hime (1997) are all generally remembered fondly. While their quality is debatable Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and The Family Stone (2005) were both fairly successful at the box office. Temple Grandin (2010) was very well received also. She's had some flops too. Who hasn't? But Homeland (2011) isn't the only reason she's known.
You might not like her movies, but that's another matter entirely.
