Jamie Lee has been giving stellar performances for decades, but hasn't really been given the recognition she deserves, or more importantly a crack at the star parts that garner such attention. Look at her in True Lies or Feaky Friday ( it's like she is Lohan)! Looking forward to Scream Queens, just because of her.

shareYou're right! I'm watching Freaky Friday now and it never occurred to me but really she is carrying the film. Little gestures and tones when portaying her daughter. She is a genius. I hope she does a lot more comedy.
Of course Lindsay Lohan was just a child back then.
She is fabulous. But I always had an impression that she never looked for the great recognition. Recently I was able tor read the interview she has done with Sigourney Weaver and it only confirmed me that Jamie Lee is just awesome.

Well I wouldn't exactly say underrated. She has received alot of love from the Golden Globes. Although I miss her and I'd like to see more of her though.

sharei agree she's very talented and underrated. but, she has mostly focused on 2 genres where there isnt a lot of awards season love; horror and comedy. i dont know if the parts never came or she simply didnt want them but she's never really done a high profile dramatic role. her closest would have been forever young.
