Turned down Kill Bill was a MISTAKE!

He was first choice to play Bill. Too bad.

I dunno. I really can't picture any other actor other than David Carradine playing Bill.
Costner is a great actor and a huge star so I completely understand why he would have been the first choice but that doesn't mean he was the right choice.

He turned down Kill Bill to go make Open Range - he did the right thing.

Carradine's look for that film got the job done. He's old school and has that badass persona. Kevin Costner is more of a recluse & psychopath actor which is why he rocked in Waterworld.

Open Range wasn't a big hit in theaters but it was awesome and a better movie in my opinion. I also agree he made the right choice.
