Favorite Performance (Besides 007)?

For me, it's Jim Malone from The Untouchables.

reply

Ha! You beat me to it! Yes, he was great in The Untouchables, as was everybody else in the cast. Great movie!

Marko Ramius, the hunt for red October.

RAMIREZZZZZZZZZ...

Love him as Daniel Dravot from The Man Who Would Be King, I also like him as Ramirez but it’s much less screen time, would have loved a Ramirez prequel with Sean rather than him in Highlander II (ugh).

reply

Bingo ! Man Who Would Be KIng. A very handsome film that seems to get overlooked.
I'm going to toss out Finding Forrester here, mostly because it's a latter performance and he continued to work.
Connery has always been one cool cat !

I've not seen that one, I'll have to seek it out!

Mark Rutland - Marnie

reply

I second that pick

reply

Because nobody else will say it, he was really good in Finding Forrester. Though the movies I watched him most often were Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The Untouchables. Although Robin Hood Prince of thieves was one I watched fairly often but he's only got that one scene at the end. I like some of his James Bond movies a bit but they aren't my favorite. I admit I haven't watched James Bond movies all that much.

The Man Who Would Be King
Last Crusade is a close second.

The Rock
The Last Crusade
The Hunt for Red October

One of the all time greats.
