Also, I don't know if you know or not, but Halle Barry is mixed and there has been Asian female stars before. Have you ever heard of Lucy Liu, Joan Chen, or Michelle Yeoh. I think you need to check your history before you make half cocked theories.

I never thought Tia was particularly beautiful until I saw that photo on allmusic. OH MAN! She looks incredibly beautiful there, like a goddess!

I think it's sooner rather than later that an Asian actress will have a starring role in a movie. Actually, it keeps on getting closer... like the actress in The Descent... Then again, a lot of asians are mixed just like Tia, especially some of the new female R&B singers (like Rhianna) who have a mix of black and asian which is very intriguing. Just like I said, I think it's sooner rather than later... oh, and I won't forget the actress from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon... among other ones.

Tia Carrere Is one of hottest 40 year olds I know of (almost sorry Tia). She is just amazingly beautiful and not fake 1 bit. Look up Meg Ryan on here, I used to think she was beautiful, check out some of her pics, lol. Hollywood makes ugly people pretty, sorry meg! $.02
