Went down too fast. Not sure how you would control that even in a better engineered, better material Sub with a hatch.
They panicked for 20 minutes after dropping the weights so and loud cracking near the electronic side with the angled part. They acesded to slow for some reason before the carbon fiber imploded or shattered.
No, I think it was an "impress the billionaire passengers and hit them up for funding" mission!
I suspect that dickwad wanted to get down to the wreck in record time to make a good impression, and that's why that particular trip was the fatal I never. There's a lot of precise gas and pressure issues involved in diving, even for a low-level SCUBA diver as i used to be, I should think that deep-sea diving is far more complex. And I think a profit-driven sociopath might ignore them all, if he saw money in front of him.
How is it proven fake? It's fiction for now but could be real
Cameron did say the weights were dropped... lines up with that, and that other sub tour company guy who dived in 2019 with oceangate mentioned weird sounds in his interviews
With things like "over" and "copy" for supposed text messages, and other blatant falsities. Now compare that to the one presented in this video: https://imgur.com/86GxjHJ?r
Same background, but someone slightly rewrote the texts to appear more genuine, and changed the format to be less fake looking. This was settled like a week ago, but this grifter uploaded a video and some people are unfortunately blindly stumbling into it.
The log is a proven fake, quit spreading this nonsense.
I just wish this dude hadn't uploaded that video, because no doubt people are going to be thinking this crap is genuine for years to come. He obviously has no respect for the truth, but hey, let's get those Youtube views amirite. Cheers
That's 100% unsupported speculation by some guy who has no actual info of what happened.
He's not an investigator - the article you linked references that in relation to the press conference video. Nothing to do with this guy or his "theory".
