Per VF, he was outfitted with fake teeth, a slightly different nose and glasses. When he tested the look at outdoor Los Angeles shopping mall The Grove, “Nobody recognized me,” Bacon said. But the tide evidently soon turned. “People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, I don’t know, buy a f***ing coffee or whatever. I was like, This sucks. I want to go back to being famous,” he told VF.

Yes, Kevin being rich and famous is an easier life than not being rich and famous. How could you not know that?

At this point in his career, he could probably walk around a mall and nobody would notice him, anyway.

Celebrity can have it's downsides.

On Howard Stern a few years back, Bacon talks about when he attends weddings now he has to go to the DJ (or band) and tell them NOT to play the Footloose song by Kenny Loggins. Bacon describes that when crowd hears it, they urge him to dance, and it almost always devolves into a weird circle where he is dancing alone and everybody is clapping around him.
