It might not be possible to prove them, but it's also highly possible that it's merely conjecture and she believes she lost out on roles for her speech when in fact other factors may have been responsible (Hollywood is not, in general, very supportive to women of a certain age regardless of whether they have won Oscars, and it doesn't take a potentially provocative, although completely righteous and spot-on, speech to provoke Hollywood sexism/ageism).
However, it would help her argument if she could specifically state which roles she lost. I know she may be concerned about how such openness might affect her career, but since she already believes she's losing parts for her candidness I don't see what she has to lose.
Rose McGowen posted a Tweet last year in which she called out Adam Sandler specifically for requiring her to dress a certain way in auditioning for a film. I wish more women in Hollywood would speak out about specific instances of sexism. I realise it takes courage, but the only way it's going to stop is through naming and shaming.
