What film role(s) did she lose out for her Oscar speech?

Apparently she lost out on roles for her Oscar speech. Does anyone know what they were? Did she say? If she's losing out, she has nothing more to lose in naming and shaming the execs and filmmakers who overlooked her as a consequence of her speech.

Unless she can prove her claims I have to doubt them.

It might not be possible to prove them, but it's also highly possible that it's merely conjecture and she believes she lost out on roles for her speech when in fact other factors may have been responsible (Hollywood is not, in general, very supportive to women of a certain age regardless of whether they have won Oscars, and it doesn't take a potentially provocative, although completely righteous and spot-on, speech to provoke Hollywood sexism/ageism).

However, it would help her argument if she could specifically state which roles she lost. I know she may be concerned about how such openness might affect her career, but since she already believes she's losing parts for her candidness I don't see what she has to lose.

Rose McGowen posted a Tweet last year in which she called out Adam Sandler specifically for requiring her to dress a certain way in auditioning for a film. I wish more women in Hollywood would speak out about specific instances of sexism. I realise it takes courage, but the only way it's going to stop is through naming and shaming.

Harvey... is a lost cause. He is a mangina and feminist supporter and falls right into the traps and pitfalls that feminists and sexism advocates setup and they have him right where they want him.

It's a shame the other 50% of the world are not particularly well represented on these boards. Then we could all have a fair and balanced discussion. As it is, I feel the need to speak up for a more feminist perspective, but that doesn't mean I'm a 'mangina', the type of expression one might expect from a woman-hater.

Many of the 50% you are referring to on these boards, make a pretty good darn case for themselves, about where they are coming from and how poorly they may represent themselves. The same goes for males and a fair and balanced discussion about any topic will never exist. You sound like this "equality" thing has got you by the short and curlys. It is an ideal and delusion you are living in and equality is not a gender thing, it is a class struggle and that includes both genders. What is it with you man? Where are your balls? Yes, we all know you dislike your own gender, just as much as you dislike some women in your life. Does that make you a misandrist, a misogynist or just a "realist"?
