I would link to the recent critical poll, I think by Little White Lies magazine, ranking Woody's films but it irritated the hell out of me. Stuff like Everybody says i love you (96) and Alice (90) ranked ahead of the early 70s classics. Truly vexxing stuff.

shareOne of my favorite Woody films, I realize it wasn't directed by him, is Play It Again Sam. It is never mentioned, again, because he did not direct it, however he did write it as a stage play.
