John Cleese handling 'Woke' BBC Interviewer

shareRemember when Cleese went on tv to debate a member of the clergy and fight the old establishment against the outdated belief systems? He's now morphed into the old man, unfortunately, seemingly so bothered that others wanting respect and dignity upset his existence that he's now going to be hosting a show regularly to tell others how bothered he is by their lives.
Shame.
respect and dignity? We are currently in the era of narratives and government pushed gaslighting. Lest not forget the censorship on every social media platform. The cancel culture fits right in. As far as respect and dignity are concerned, they have nothing to do with the current narratives, gaslighting and censorship - in fact, these are the very antithesis of dignity and respect.
shareOnly the government can censor, i.e., FORCIBLY silence. You do not have a right to free speech on someone else's property. When you use someone else's property, like a digital platform, there are limitations that come with that. That's not censorship. The rules imposed may be WRONG, but that doesn't mean they are equivalent to censorship. Censorship applies only to the use of force to completely silence someone so that they can't even use their private property to speak. Property rights are the foundation of speech rights.
shareWell, willjbeau, I'm glad to hear you support Elon Musk!
shareWoke Media is The Establishment! Still doing the Good Fight.
shareThe cancel culture must have come after that vid, because it's no longer available. He must have roasted the interviewer good and proper.
Here's a story on it: https://www.theblaze.com/news/john-cleese-blasts-deception-bbc-interview
"Last month Cleese canceled himself from an upcoming speaking gig at Cambridge University after he caught wind that an art historian was canceled there over an impersonation of Adolf Hitler that reportedly offended students.
"'I was looking forward to talking to students at the Cambridge Union this Friday, but I hear that someone there has been blacklisted for doing an impersonation of Hitler,' Cleese wrote on Twitter. 'I regret that I did the same on a Monty Python show, so I am blacklisting myself before someone else does.'"
I missed it on Monty Python, but here's a version from "Fawlty Towers" -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tms0yk9kqVM
And that's what's wrong with Cancel/Woke Culture -- no room for a sense of humor.
