One of the biggest criticisms of Kurosawa in Japan was that he wasn't Japanese enough. Someone must be wrong here.
No, anybody with a functioning brain can understand and enjoy his movies.
It just seems like a shame that comments like "too japanese" are not deleted or put into a "special" archive where the "special" needs people can discuss movies in their own "special" braindead way.
There's always dersu uzala...
