Unlikely. He was a workaholic who probably didn't take the best care of himself.

Pretty dumb of "them" to let the movie come out then, wouldn't you say? And no, there is no "unseen footage" that proves it all. All of Kubrick's films were trimmed just before hitting the theatres, and sometimes while they were in theatres, but these cut were usually done for pacing reasons. 2001 also had about 20 minutes cut out of it. The very last scene of The Shining was cut from the theaters, but production stills exist as does the plot outline, and people remember seeing the original ending in the theaters in 1980 before the new cut replaced it. Not a single piece of eyewitness evidence exist that there was ever any footage of child rape or human sacrifice. The entire second half of the existing Eyes Wide Shut (and the ambiguous ending) make no sense if footage like that was actually shot for the Somerton Mansion sequence.

You've been watching too much of that Welsh Youtube Vlogger "Top 5" something. He's got a hard-on for Kubrick conspiracies. He was even able to get his short docudrama video onto Amazon Prime.
