Indeed. Have you by chance have seen BARRY LYNDON? That movie is one of the most beautifully shot movies of all time.

Sometimes people say that Kubrick's dialogues are boring, or that his characters are cold. Kubrick didn't care about all that. A movie is a visual artfom in the first place. A visual experience. And Kubrick knew how to make a film look interesting.
