Kubrick or Ed Wood?

Although I will not pass judgment I want to sat something.
I read that more than half the films from before 1950 no longer exist. The original acetates have disintegrated and they are lost forever.

If you go on Amazon or to Best Buy you can by boxed sets of the entire Ed Wood collection digitally remastered and lovingly restored frame by frame to be preserved for all time.

Take that as you will.
At least Ed was passionate about making films.
