shareI don't know if Douglas raped Natalie Wood or not. The only thing that's not in doubt is that Natalie was indeed raped at 16 by a Hollywood POS "powerbroker" and was told by many (including her mama) not to rat him out in order not to soil Hollywood's house.
Two tragedies; that a girl was raped and that the perp didn't pay for it. Whoever it was, I wish there was a way for FACTs to be known and not innuendo and supposition.
As to your point, I said the same thing. I would not watch the show but as we were channel surfing a bit, I came across Douglas in his wheelchair and stopped out of morbid curiosity. I want to live as long as I can be independent and enjoy life. When the day comes that I'm someone's burden, I'm hoping that's my last day.
By capitalizing facts...am I to assume that was a clever barb...aimed at inflicting some degree of shame upon me? I made sure to use the term alleged...what more could I have done? Not mentioned it?

The part of my post about his alleged involvement with Natalie Wood was not directed to you, although one does have to push a "reply" button in order to post anything, so I picked yours as I was also addressing your point about his age. I've read a lot of comments on the web today as well as a couple of threads on this site about Douglas and the rape, and a lot of people have assumed that Douglas is guilty of rape without facts and that's what I was addressing. Put a gun to my head and I'll tell you I believe it was him as well, but I won't say it without knowing the facts.

I totally disagree with you DF! I mean, if I can still take care of myself and I don't have to get visits from nurses, home health care, etc then man, let me live forever. Just want charliekelly by my side :)
