Brando admitted to basically being a sex addict and he had affairs with many many women in his life, apparently this film is the closest he ever came to playing himself, I think he realized he revealed too much and never did again, it wa shis last great role.

However Brando was a womanizer but i don't think the character in this film is though, as he only has 1 partner.

Well, he was clearly a very dim sex addict as he didn't have a vasectomy like most normal movie stars of his time. He went around breeding like it was the 14th century.
