Thanks for that! It confuses me a bit when other 'cinemaphiles' argue Brando wasn't much of an actor.

He had brilliant technique, even when working off of cue cards.

Not liking him is acceptable, but he was good.

Stella's masterpiece, I'd say.

Brando was definitely a Method Actor, just like James Dean.

He didn't even bother to learn his lines. He'd read them off of cards.
