i don't think she said this

[on the Twilight films] Yes, I saw Twilight - my granddaughter made me watch it, she said it was the greatest vampire film ever. After the 'film' was over I wanted to smack her across her head with my shoe, but I do not want a (tell-all) book called Grannie Dearest written on me when I die. So instead I gave her a DVD of Murnau's 1922 masterpiece Nosferatu and told her, 'Now that's a vampire film!' And that goes for all of you! Watch Nosferatu instead!

I have seen this assigned to Elizabeth Taylor too. I think it's one of those false quotes put out there.

A couple years back someone impersonated her on Twitter, this was a comment they had put. For a while it was actually really believable, till the indivdual started to post some photos and likes that didn't really reflect a woman of Ms. Bacall's years. Shortly thereafter, someone got in touch with her agent who said that Ms. Bacall doesn't even own a computer and doesn't know what twitter is. The account was deleted shortly thereafter by Twitter.

Yea, it sounds about right. I think somebody did the same thing to Taylor because I have definitely seen that quote assigned to her in the past too
