Shame she passed at the same time as Robin Williams

Shame her death will be eclipsed by Robin Williams. She was acting in classics before he was even born. It may make a side note on most news sites.

At first I thought that too, but I don't really think it would be a big deal to her or to her fans, she'll be remembered as one of the greats and a classic beauty whose career spanned 8 decades.

Unfortunately, I remember her most (in her later years anyway) for this:

I remember she was a great actress,

Side note? Her death is the leading story on the Yahoo main page at the moment. There are already 621 individual Google articles covering her death, and all the major news outlets.

Robin Williams was splashed across the front page of our city newspaper. We'll see where Lauren Bacall's articles appear tomorrow...

I kind of felt the same way about Farrah Fawcett, she did some wonderful work, but of course Michael Jackson was on everyone's mind.

Anyway RIP to both very talented actors.

There's a huge difference in the nature of their deaths. One committed suicide, the other died of old age. Of course the media will cover the more surprising of the two.

Bacall was right. Kidman is not a legend. She's famous, but not a legend. I love how the media tries to turn nothing into something.
