This is passion, this is love...

What a gift from God she was. She set the bar for this song. Some have managed to reach it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qyesq5tKoBg

YES...GREAT SONG....THAT ALWAYS CROSSES MY MIND IN THE SHOWER.....BASED ON A MOVIE REFERENCE THAT I CAN LONGER REMEMBER.🤔

reply

Uhm, in the shower? Are you trying to be a smart ass again? I think a lot of movie buffs associate the song with this movie https://moviechat.org/tt0103855/The-Bodygua

reply

YES...THE BODYGUARD OBVIOUSLY...BUT THERE IS A COMEDY I BELIEVE THAT USES THE SONG BEING SUNG IN THE SHOWER....HALF BAKED MAYBE?.....THE REFERENCE ELUDES ME...BUT I GENUINELY THINK OF THE SONG IN THE SHOWER OFTEN BECAUSE OF IT.

reply

Typical of how shallow you are.

Maybe it's a compliment about having a tight butthole. Did you ask him?

WELL?....IS IT?....ABOUT MY BUTTHOLE?

reply

Well, you always express yourself out of it.

reply

I LOVE YOU ANYWAY🥰

reply

Charming… as usual.

reply

I thought I was on your Ignore list, you lying, cowardly pos! I create a thread about real love and this is the response I get? It explains why MC is so stagnant.

reply

Did you guys hear something?

reply

I thought maybe I heard a shit sweeper out in the gutter a minute ago.

reply

Yeah, you create maggots, punk. Small wonder you were fired from an elder living facility.

reply

Of all the songs out there, you think of this song in the shower??

reply

Yeah, it's posts like his that reveal others' true colors and make me think MC is beyond redemption. He's a punk, an absolute lowlife who doesn't deserve all the slack the mods have given him here.

reply

It’s a beautiful vocal performance.
I still prefer Dolly’s performance to be honest. She was not so ‘power’ but it felt sweet and folksy.

reply

Well yeah, she is the originator of the song. I love Dolly also but I think Whitney's rendition is what put it on the map, so to speak. I've never seen any kind of conflict between the two artists over it.

reply

No, no conflict at all, they apparently hit it off.

Funny story: my father in law and I were once drinking in my garage late at night and I played Dolly’s and Whitney’s versions back to back. He was adamant that Whitney killed it but afterwards he admitted that Dolly’s was the better of the two!

Anyway, Whitney was lovely, a real loss for a lot of us.
