rules for posting frequency and "naughty words" list

I had an account for years and never had any issues. I deleted it and decided to start fresh in late Dec. 2024 (to be more anonymous; my previous username was too-close-to-home). Now I have imposed time limits that I have to wait like 10 minutes between posts.

Also, I cannot write the words as*, ti* and many other "naughty word" restrictions that I never had before.

Will my "time between posts" decrease with username maturity? And what about this censorship? Is that something new, something that also will go away with seniority, or is it a rule that I was simply was grandfathered in on, with my last account?

I can censor my posts, but the time-between-posts restriction is super annoying.

Yes, the time between posts thing goes away eventually.

As to foul language the site is pretty reasonable, I’ve had no trouble with that and I can get a bit crude.

Ass and tits.

Ain't gonna lie, I feel like a first class citizen here.

boobies!

You're right, I feel like I'm on top of the world!

JFC if MovieChat wants to grow they have to ditch the ridiculous time limits between posts. It's been awhile but I think IMDb only had a 3 minute limit on newbies.

When I first came here I inquired about the "naughty words" and I was told you could use any obscenities in the body of the post but never in the title.

As a relatively new user here who hasn't been here before I did notice waiting times between posts when I got started here, but I've never encountered any censorship, but then I'm generally not using foul or vulgar language so maybe I just never tried using any of those words.
I haven't encountered any waiting times between posts recently, but I'm not sure whether I just didn't try to post within the waiting time or there is no more waiting for me.

Wanker!

No, seems ok to me 😉

MORE ANONYMOUS?.....LMAO..NOW WE ARE ALL WONDERING WHO YOU ARE.

I tried to PM you (YOU) but I got an error "your account is too new". I'll PM you when that restriction is lifted. We have chatted before A FEW TIMES.

I am thrilled to report that after a 7 day probation period, both my censorship and time-delay rules have been lifted!
