Prime ministers
Do you need to be a member of parliament to be a prime minister?
sharesounds so much like Crime Minister
shareWell there is more than one parliament in the world, so I am assuming you mean the UK, and there, I do believe one has to be an MP to be the Prime Minister.
shareI meant in general
shareDifferent countries might have different rules. In France, for example, "the prime minister is appointed by the president of France, who is theoretically free to pick anyone for the post. In practice, because the National Assembly has the power to force the resignation of the government by adopting a motion of no confidence, the choice of prime minister must reflect the will of the majority in the National Assembly." - Wikipedia
shareJeez!
Can we all just get back to pointy sticks and well thrown stones? It seems much easier.
