Your Opinion on the band: The Scorpions

For me, I feel that they are underrated. I am going to play some of their songs at my future wedding

They’re ok.

Excellent.. The SCORPIONS are Excellent

reply

Yeah, they were the rage when I was a kid. Awful band. Do hair metal if you want. But those guys didn't have the imagination to do what Motley Crue or even Arrowsmith did. Scorpions, fuck 'em.

reply

"Wind of change" is an excellent song.

Nothing great.

Classic rock band, sails of charon and still loving you are master pieces

reply

Great band with great guitar players and a great vocalist in Klaus Meine. I love "The Zoo!"

reply

I only know Rock You Like a Hurricane but I love it and play it whenever NC is about to be hit by a hurricane, which is at least yearly. It is generally the best part of the hurricane.

Oh, North Carolina!
Beautiful state and good people.

As a New York kid I was unprepared for how nice people are outside of the tri-state area. We spent some time near Brevard a couple summers in a row, my little sis and I loved it there in the mountains.

reply

Brevard and neighboring Hendersonville are our favorite places to go in the mountains. There are lots of waterfalls in the area and plenty of good restaurants and fun things to do. If you ever come back to North Carolina you should try Hendersonville and Brevard in one fell swoop.

We went to a big wooded area called ‘Sliding Rock’ a couple times. It was a really fun time, you slid down a slippery rock all smoothed out by a river-fall and that was really fun.
Ever been there?

reply

I've never been there but I have slid down a small waterfall in another part of North Carolina called Traphill. Those are really fun memories.

One of the braver things I've done in my life. 😁

reply

I’m no daredevil either!
BTW, I just looked it up, it’s called ‘Sliding Rock’

I got the name wrong.
Beautiful country down there👍

reply

Thanks! The only places in New York I've ever been are Binghamton and Cooperstown as a side trip during my honeymoon and it was a lovely area that actually reminded us of Western North Carolina. I remember Cooperstown being a nice, quaint little town.

reply

You were wise to skip NYC, it’s one big dump except for the museums.
