You should come to London, Ontario, Canada. It's just like London, England with the exception of culture, architecture, famous landmarks, class, world rankings, cuisine, sports teams, celebrity, and tourism.
shareYouβre not selling this to me.
shareBut then you can never say that you've been to the 74th best city in Canada.
shareHow many cities are there in Canadia?
shareI just checked. It's 1,163, which is a lot considering 50% of Canadians live below the red line.

Enjoy Londontown!
shareI always love coming here.
shareSafetravels and enjoy!
Coincidentally,Mybrother and his wife arealso due over there soon.
It's funny- They both went most of their lives solely on this side of the pond and are now quite the Anglophiles.π¬π§
I hope to make the trip myself one day.
But "football" will always only mean one thing to me π, Whereas my brother has been corrupted β½οΈ π
However, I am enjoying Ted Lasso.π

Iβm just taking a stroll through Hyde Park - itβs lovely.
shareOne comment I hear from people who come to London from the US particularly is how modern it is. A lot of people expect olde worlde buildings and streets, and there are not many of them left.
Sure, there are the famous landmarks, Big Ben, Tower of London, St Paul's etc...but the amount of redevelopment is insane.
The Canary Wharf area is full of tall office buildings and resembles NY more than London.
The skyline has changed dramatically over the years.
I recommend Battersea Power Station, which has been renovated and is now a shopping mall. Very expensive though. And you can take a ride in a lift inside of one of the chimneys, and get great views of the city.
Thereβs certainly a lot of development going on and Canary Wharf is the financial enter, so very modern.
We visited Battersea last year and had a nice afternoon there.
