Did you know:
Most entertainers (by far) are created Knights Bachelor (not made a member of any order of chivalry). Roger Moore, by contrast, was created a Knight Commander of the Order of The British Empire and he carries the post-nominal KBE after his name. Knights Bachelor have no post-nominal, though they may have one from an earlier award, for example Sir Patrick Stewart OBE.

Women are always appointed to an order of chivalry, their are no "Dame Bachelors."

She was born at a time when there was birth right citizenship in the UK. Her parents were American. Same thing happened to my sister, born in London in the early 1960s when dad was there on business. She is a dual US/UK citizen to this day.
