I HAD A TRIO OF PET CHICKENS IN THE PAST...SO I DON'T EVEN EAT POULTRY ANYMORE...BEEF IS THE ONLY MEAT I WILL EAT...NOBODY BETTER GIVE ME ANY ORPHAN COWS OR I WILL HAVE TO GO FULL VEGETARIAN.
shareEver try bison? Delicious and very similar to beef. Little pricey though.
shareThere was a time when I bought bison meat on a regular basis because of a nearby store that specialized in it, e.g. bison burgers (great on the grill) and chili.π Much leaner than beef and higher in protein content.
shareA grocery store here used to carry ribeyes, but I haven't seen them lately. All that's available now is ground bison and "medallions" which is basically just a cheap cut similar to round steaks.
