shareIf you're into sci-fi, Babylon 5 is a good one. A bit dated, but still a very good story.
shareInteresting. I remember this but i never watched it for some reason. I'll give it a try because I love Sci fi. Thanks π πΌ
shareMy brother would also recommend "Time Trax," which is a unique 90s show about a guy who traveled from the future to the 1990s to stop bad guys trying to change history. Not the best special-effects, but the story-writing was pretty good. If you're into "SeaQuest," just watch the first season and it's great.
shareExcellent, I'll check these out. Thanks
shareThe Kowalskiβ’ recommended this, so credit where it's due, but the free online service Tubi might have something you'd like.
I'm in the middle of the TV show Sapphire & Steel from 1979 and if want good sci-fi that probably messed up some kids, I highly recommend it.
They also have the show two show The Prisoner and the movie Apollo 18 - both of which I think are the bee's knees.
The Expanse. An excellent sci-fi show.
Justified. A great crime thriller.
Mr Inbetween. A wonderful Australian crime - black comedy - drama.
TV:
Taxi- your Danny DeVito
Coach- classic 90's comedy
Northern exposure- quirky
Corner Gas- 2000's family Canadian comedy
Clarkson's Farm- funny, interesting reality
Movies:
Santa's Slay- for the opening
In the Mouth of Madness- Carpenter's Lovecraft style horror
Overnight Delivery- Paul Rudd and Reece Witherspoon 90's Romcom
With Honors- Brenden Frasier and Joe Peci drama
Evil Alien Conquerors- it's stupid but in the right way
Raising Arizona- Classic Nicholas Cage movie.
Brilliant. Thank you
shareCorner Gas is one of my favorite series. ππ»
shareI didn't think anyone outside of Canada knew what that was.
shareSome of us are smart enough to look outside the U.S. for our entertainment. These days, I think I watch more British stuff than American. Hollywood is just more of the same garbage: remakes, reboots, and spin-offs.
shareI watch more British stuff than American and Canadian. It's just that being a Canadian, I didn't know many people who watched it. Oddly enough, I've never seen an episode but saw the movie.

Currently, I'm not watching many TV show in general, but I love: Mr. Bean, Black Books. IT Crowd, The Prisoner, The Inbetweeners, Misfits, Being Human, Sherlock, Extras, Spaced and Luther.
The most recent ones I finished I are Detectorists and Toast of London.
Before I suggest any titles, what do you think of movies about professors and their students?

Tulsa King
Yellowjackets
Evil
Euphoria
Banshee
Not listed in order of preference. I would have put Counterpart head, shoulders and navel above the rest, but you will have to buy it on digital. And, if you are willing to do that (which is what I do), then I recommend
American Gothic, with Gary Cole as Sherif Lucas Buck (βThatβs βBuck,β with a Bββ), aka Satan
American Gothic. I forgot this existed. I think I remember it. Its like 20 years old or more?
