Misfits has an album called 'Project 1950' of covers of doo-wop 50s songs played at 90 miles and hour and rock as hard as a cement pie in the face.

Did The Descendants do a cover album? I could be wrong about the band, but I vividly remember having a punk album as a kid that was completely cover songs.
